Apple's new 3D Touch technology is now available on the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. The technology which is part of the display, lets users press on the screen to reveal secondary actions. The harder you press the more things you can do.
With the technology there
are two new ways of interacting:
1. Quick Actions
These
let you access a secondary menu from the home screen icon. For things like the
camera app that might be taking you straight to the selfie option within the
app, or for the Phone app icon your three favourite people.
2. Apple calls Peek and
Pop
This
option lets you "peek" into parts of the app or other apps from
within the app. An example might be previewing your photos from the camera app
or looking into your Calendar app from the Mail app without having to open the
Calendar app to see if you are busy or not.
Rather
than just keep the new interactions to itself, Apple has allowed third party
developers to use the new features to enhance their own apps.
Here
are the best ones we've found in the App Store so far. If you see any good
examples of 3D Touch, let us know in the comments below.

developers of Endless Alphabet (iTunes) have used 3D Touch to add an extra

than Quick Actions or Peek and Pop, the developers behind AG Drive (iTunes)

you don't put your thumbs through the screen in the hope to go faster.
