Google’s next Nexus event is on September 29

Google has started sending out press invitations for its next event on September 29 in San Francisco. This is the first major event for Google since its re-organisation under Alphabet and also the most crucial event for Sundar Pichai as CEO.

Google announced its last Nexus device in October 2014 and it would be a safe bet to assume that this event will throw more light on next Nexus device and also launch of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

For the first time, Google could announce two Nexus devices from two different manufacturers. According to leaks, LG will be bring its updated Nexus 5 device with 5.2-inch display while Huawei is expected to announce flagship Nexus smartphone with 5.7-inch display and top-of-the-line specs.

Google could also announce update to its Chromecast streaming device at this event. The new Chromecast could come with new design and dual band WiFi support.
